Do Indian passport holders need a visa for Mauritius?
No visa is needed in advance. Indian travellers are admitted visa-free for tourist stays of up to 90 days. You need a passport valid for six months, return tickets, confirmed hotel bookings and proof of funds. We prepare the full document set with your itinerary.
When is the best time to visit Mauritius?
May to December is drier and cooler, with September to November especially pleasant. January to March is warm with short heavy showers and occasional cyclone activity, but also the best resort pricing.
Which coast should we stay on?
The north around Grand Baie suits first trips and families who want restaurants nearby. The east is calmer and greener for honeymooners. The west has the best sunsets and responsible dolphin-watching departures, and the south is wild and quiet. Many of our plans split two coasts.
How many nights do you recommend?
Six to seven nights is the sweet spot for one coast. Nine or more lets you split two coasts comfortably, or add Réunion or the Seychelles.
Are meals and excursions included?
Most Mauritius resorts offer half board or all inclusive. We compare the real cost of each meal plan for your group and add only the excursions worth paying for, such as a responsible Tamarin dolphin-watching trip or an Île aux Cerfs catamaran day.
