Where the Sacred Meets the Sea
Bali occupies a singular space in the imagination, a place where Hinduism blooms through incense offerings on every doorstep, where ancient temples cling to ocean cliffs, and where lush jungle spills down into rice paddies that have fed both body and spirit for centuries. It is an island of contrasts that somehow feel perfectly composed: raw volcanic peaks and infinity pool horizons, morning temple prayers and moonlit beach bars, handwoven textiles and Michelin-calibre dining.
Canopy & Sky approaches Bali as two distinct worlds that belong together. We begin our journeys in Ubud, the cultural and spiritual heart of the island, where mornings are spent among sacred monkey forests, jungle resorts nestled into river gorges, and art markets that have attracted collectors for decades. We then move to Seminyak and the southern coast, where sleek pool villas open onto sunset-drenched promenades, world-class beach clubs define the evening hours, and the Indian Ocean provides the dramatic backdrop for everything.
For those who wish to go further, Nusa Penida, Bali's wildest offshore neighbour, offers some of Southeast Asia's most striking seascapes: T-Rex shaped limestone cliffs at Kelingking, the otherworldly natural arch of Broken Beach, and crystal waters that rival anything in the Maldives.
Moments shaped just for you

Board a private transfer to Bali's most spectacular offshore island. The tour takes you to Kelingking Beach, a towering limestone promontory shaped like a T-Rex plunging into turquoise water, followed by Broken Beach's circular lagoon, Angel's Billabong's tidal pools, and the snorkelling haven of Crystal Bay. A local snack lunch is included.

At nearly 1,700 metres, Kintamani offers a perspective of Bali few visitors fully appreciate. Mount Batur rises from the rim of a vast ancient caldera, mirrored in the lake below. Paired with the Tegalalang Rice Terraces on the same day for a sweeping arc through Bali's geology and agriculture.

Pura Luhur Uluwatu sits 70 metres above the Indian Ocean, one of six key sea temples protecting Bali from evil spirits. At sunset, the ancient Kecak dance unfolds against the most dramatic backdrop on the island.

Suspended above river canyons with the Ubud jungle as your horizon, these jungle swings (including Nest seats and multiple swing options) turn an afternoon into a story worth telling.

Among the most photographed temples on earth, the 16th-century sea temple sits on a rocky outcrop just offshore, cut off entirely at high tide. At dusk, the sky turns amber behind it.
An immersive wildlife experience across 100+ species in a recreated natural habitat. One of Bali's genuinely extraordinary days for families and wildlife lovers alike.
Day by day
Arrive at Denpasar Ngurah Rai, around 90 minutes by road up into the hills and transfer privately to your base. Time today to walk the Campuhan ridge as the heat goes out of the day.
The subak irrigation terraces at Tegallalang or Jatiluwih, the water temple at Tirta Empul, and Goa Gajah's carved cave entrance. A sarong is required at temples and is provided.
Ubud's palace and market early, the Neka or ARMA art museums, and silversmithing or wood-carving villages at Celuk and Mas.
Mount Batur's caldera view from Kintamani, a waterfall walk at Tegenungan or Tibumana, and a Balinese massage or yoga session to finish.
Drive south from Ubud to Seminyak, about an hour and a half. On arrival, walk down to the beach for sunset and dinner along Petitenget.
Seminyak's beach clubs and surf, the design and boutique strips of Petitenget and Oberoi, and one of Bali's better restaurant scenes in the evening.
The sea temple at Tanah Lot, stranded on its rock at high tide, with rice fields and the Canggu coast on the way back.
A last beach morning before the short run to the airport. Private transfer to Denpasar Ngurah Rai in good time for your onward flight.
Seven to nine nights is our preferred structure for a comprehensive experience, allowing a meaningful split between Ubud and the coast. At least 3 nights in each is ideal to appreciate both worlds fully.
Absolutely. The Bali Safari Jungle Hopper, Water Bom Park, the Nusa Penida West Tour, and the Ubud Monkey Forest all work beautifully for families. We tailor pace and hotel selection accordingly; child pricing is available.
Ubud is Bali's inland cultural heartland: cooler, quieter, set among rice terraces and jungle ravines. Seminyak is the coast: warmer, livelier, centred on beaches, dining, and beach clubs. Our signature itineraries combine both.
Yes. Every transfer and tour operates on a private basis, your vehicle, your driver, your schedule. You will not be combined with other groups.
Full payment is required by the cut-off date to secure your booking. All confirmed hotel reservations are non-refundable. Rates quoted in INR are subject to the exchange rate applicable at the time of payment.
Every itinerary is a starting point. Tell us what matters most, more spa time, specific temples, a private cooking class, an extended Nusa Penida day, and we build it around you.
It is a steady two-hour climb on loose volcanic ground, done in the dark with torches. Anyone with average fitness manages it; the jeep sunrise tour to the crater rim is an easier alternative.
Yes. Both are north of Ubud. We do the terraces and swings first thing, then the quad-bike trail mid-morning, and you are back at your villa for lunch. Bring a change of clothes; the trails are muddy.
