Africa · Beach & Island Hopping
Mahé · Praslin · La Digue · 8 nights
Eight nights from Mahé to La Digue, paced around the days that matter.
Eight nights across three stops: Mahé for three nights, Praslin for three and La Digue for two. Every transfer between them is private and timed around the day's plan.
The days are built around Victoria, Markets and the Interior; Vallée de Mai; Anse Source d'Argent by Bicycle; and Beaches of the South and West. Each one is set out below with what you will see, how you get there and which meals are included.
The defining moment of this route: private catamaran day between the inner islands. Your travel specialist can add a night, swap a day or change the order before you book.
Day by day
Arrive at Seychelles International, about 20-40 minutes by road depending on your coast and transfer privately to your base. Time today to walk Beau Vallon beach and watch the sun drop behind Silhouette island.
The small capital and its clock tower and market, the Botanical Gardens with coco de mer palms and giant tortoises, and the Morne Seychellois forest above.
Anse Intendance, Anse Takamaka and Petite Anse on the southwest coast, with a Creole lunch and the tea factory on the mountain road.
Cross from Mahé by fast ferry or short domestic flight. On arrival, settle on Côte d'Or and swim before the light goes.
The UNESCO-listed palm forest where the coco de mer grows wild, walked with a guide who can find the black parrot and explain the endemic palms.
One of the most photographed beaches in the Indian Ocean, plus Anse Georgette on the northwest shore, which usually requires arranging access in advance.
Take the short inter-island ferry from Praslin to La Passe. On arrival, collect a bicycle and ride to the plantation and the beaches.
Through L'Union Estate, with its vanilla plantation and copra mill, to the granite formations of Anse Source d'Argent. The beach is best at low tide.
An early ride to the beach before the ferry back. Private transfer to Praslin ferry jetty in good time for your onward flight.
April to May and October to November, between the trade winds, when seas are calmest and visibility is clearest for snorkelling.
By fast ferry or a short domestic flight to Praslin, then a ferry to La Digue. Bicycles are the usual way around La Digue.
Visitors receive a permit on arrival, but you must also complete the Seychelles travel authorisation online before you fly.
Three to four months ahead gives the widest choice of rooms and guided days, and more for school holidays, festivals and peak season. Shorter notice is often possible; ask and we will check live availability.
Yes. Every journey is a starting point: add or remove nights, swap a day's plan, change hotels or reorder the route, and your travel specialist re-plans the whole trip around it.
Your quote sets out the deposit that confirms the booking and the date the balance is due. Both depend on the hotels, airlines and guides involved, so they are agreed with you before you pay anything.
