The Journey

The defining moment of this route: studio backlot access and a Malibu cliff lunch. Your travel specialist can add a night, swap a day or change the order before you book.

Common Questions

Do we need a car in Los Angeles?+

Distances are large, so this journey uses a private driver for each day. Traffic is heavy at peak times, so we plan around it.

When is the best time to visit Los Angeles?+

Year-round. Spring and autumn are warm and clear; early summer can bring morning coastal cloud.

How early should we apply for a US visa?+

As early as possible. Interview waiting times in India can be long, so apply before you fix travel dates.

Should we self-drive Highway 1?+

It is a wonderful drive with an international licence. If you prefer to relax, a private driver and guide can take you.

Is vegetarian food easy?+

Very easy. California is known for vegetarian-friendly food, and the Bay Area has excellent Indian restaurants.

How far in advance should we book?+

Three to four months ahead gives the widest choice of rooms and guided days, and more for school holidays, festivals and peak season. Shorter notice is often possible; ask and we will check live availability.
