Los Angeles · Big Sur · San Francisco · 9 nights
Nine nights from Los Angeles to San Francisco, paced around the days that matter.
Nine nights across three stops: Los Angeles for three nights, Big Sur for three and San Francisco for three. Every transfer between them is private and timed around the day's plan.
The days are built around Hollywood, Griffith and the Hills; Highway 1 and the Coast; Golden Gate, Presidio and the Bay; and Beaches and the Coast. Each one is set out below with what you will see, how you get there and which meals are included.
The defining moment of this route: private Napa cellar tasting before opening hours. Your travel specialist can add a night, swap a day or change the order before you book.
Moments shaped just for you

The Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood sign view, the Walk of Fame and TCL Chinese Theatre, and the Getty Center's collection and gardens above the 405.

Santa Monica pier and the beach path, Venice boardwalk and canals, and Abbot Kinney's shops, with sunset from the Palisades.

Redwood trails in Pfeiffer Big Sur park, the sea otters and cypress of Point Lobos reserve, and Carmel-by-the-Sea's galleries.

Walking or cycling the Golden Gate Bridge, the Presidio and Baker Beach, Fort Point beneath the span, and the Marina waterfront. Fog can hide the bridge entirely in summer.
Day by day
Arrive at LAX, 30-90 minutes by road depending on traffic and neighbourhood and transfer privately to your base. Time today to settle in and walk to dinner in your neighbourhood, allowing for traffic.

Very. Disneyland, Universal Studios, beaches, the aquarium in Monterey and San Francisco's cable cars are favourites with children.
Yes. Las Vegas is an hour's flight from Los Angeles or San Francisco, and the Grand Canyon is reachable by road or a scenic flight from Las Vegas.
Very easy. California is known for vegetarian-friendly food, and the Bay Area has excellent Indian restaurants.
