Kuala Lumpur · Penang · Langkawi · 9 nights
Nine nights from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi, paced around the days that matter.
Nine nights across three stops: Kuala Lumpur for three nights, Penang for three and Langkawi for three. Every transfer between them is private and timed around the day's plan.
The days are built around Towers, Temples and Markets; George Town Heritage Walk; SkyCab, SkyBridge and the Rainforest; and Batu Caves and the Highlands. Each one is set out below with what you will see, how you get there and which meals are included.
The defining moment of this route: penang street-food trail with a Georgetown food historian. Your travel specialist can add a night, swap a day or change the order before you book.
Moments shaped just for you

Fly across or take the ferry from Penang or Kuala Perlis. On arrival, settle on Cenang or the quieter north coast and swim before sunset.
The cable car up Gunung Mat Cincang to the curved sky bridge, with a rainforest walk and the Seven Wells waterfall below. Cable cars close in high wind.
A boat into the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park among limestone cliffs, mangrove channels, bat caves and eagles. Please avoid operators that feed the eagles.
A last beach morning before the short transfer to the airport. Private transfer to Langkawi International in good time for your onward flight.
Yes, as a two or three night add-on to Sabah for the Sepilok orangutans and a Kinabatangan river cruise. It adds two flights, so we suggest 12 days in total.
Very. Quiet resorts on private bays, sunset cruises, duty-free shopping and the rainforest are all close together. Avoid the far busier Pantai Cenang if you want peace.
It is a curved suspension bridge 660 m above sea level with a glass section in the middle. The walkway has high railings; you can also enjoy the views from the top station without crossing.
Char koay teow, asam laksa, Hokkien mee, nasi kandar and cendol. Most stalls open either for breakfast or after 5 pm, so we plan the food walk for evening.
Malay food is halal, Chinese stalls often are not, and Indian Muslim and South Indian restaurants offer plenty of vegetarian choice. We list good options in each city.
Three to four months ahead gives the widest choice of rooms and guided days, and more for school holidays, festivals and peak season. Shorter notice is often possible; ask and we will check live availability.
