Barcelona · Seville · Granada · 9 nights
Nine nights from Barcelona to Granada, paced around the days that matter.
Nine nights across three stops: Barcelona for three nights, Seville for three and Granada for three. Every transfer between them is private and timed around the day's plan.
The days are built around Gaudí: Sagrada Família and Park Güell, Alcázar and Cathedral, The Alhambra and Generalife and Gothic Quarter and El Born. Each one is set out below with what you will see, how you get there and which meals are included.
The defining moment of this route: after-hours Alhambra walk with a resident historian. Your travel specialist can add a night, swap a day or change the order before you book.
Day by day
Arrive at Barcelona El Prat, about 30 minutes by road to the centre and transfer privately to your base. Time today to walk the Eixample grid and end on a rooftop looking towards the sea.
Timed entry to the Sagrada Família with a guide who explains the structural logic, not just the façades, then Park Güell's monumental zone, also timed.
The Roman walls, cathedral cloister and medieval lanes of the Barri Gòtic, then Santa Maria del Mar and the Born's design shops and bars.
Take the AVE high-speed train or fly south into Andalusia. On arrival, walk Santa Cruz and the cathedral exterior while the streets cool.
Timed entry to the Real Alcázar, still a working royal palace with Mudéjar courtyards and gardens, then the cathedral and the Giralda ramp.
Across the river to Triana's ceramic workshops and market, then a tapas route through the old centre and an evening at a serious flamenco tablao rather than a dinner show.
Drive across Andalusia from Seville or Málaga, around two to three hours. On arrival, walk up to the Mirador de San Nicolás for the Alhambra against the Sierra Nevada.
A full guided morning across the Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba and Generalife gardens. Nasrid Palace entry is by nominative timed ticket and sells out well in advance.
The Moorish quarter's carmen gardens and cisterns, then up to Sacromonte's cave dwellings and their flamenco tradition.
Coffee in the Albaicín before the drive out. Private transfer to Málaga or Granada airport in good time for your onward flight.
Yes, both well ahead. Alhambra tickets are released in limited numbers with a fixed entry time for the Nasrid Palaces, and they sell out in season. We book both when you confirm.
A short flight to Seville, or the high-speed train. Seville to Granada is about three hours by private car or train.
July and August regularly pass 40°C in Seville. March to May and late September to November are the most comfortable months.
Three to four months ahead gives the widest choice of rooms and guided days, and more for school holidays, festivals and peak season. Shorter notice is often possible; ask and we will check live availability.
Yes. Every journey is a starting point: add or remove nights, swap a day's plan, change hotels or reorder the route, and your travel specialist re-plans the whole trip around it.
Your quote sets out the deposit that confirms the booking and the date the balance is due. Both depend on the hotels, airlines and guides involved, so they are agreed with you before you pay anything.
