A clinically supervised Ayurvedic programme at a certified Kerala retreat, not a spa menu. A BAMS-qualified physician assesses your prakriti and current imbalance on day one, then prescribes a daily sequence of therapies, a diet cooked to your dosha and a yoga and pranayama practice. Treatments are delivered by trained therapists and reviewed by the doctor every two or three days.

Your physician selects from these according to your assessment. A seven-night stay typically covers three or four of them.
Synchronised warm-oil massage by two therapists, followed by a herbal steam — the daily foundation of every programme.
A continuous stream of warm medicated oil over the forehead, prescribed for sleep disturbance, anxiety and migraine.
The full five-action cleanse including Virechana and Basti. Requires a 14 to 21-night stay to be done properly.
Oil bathing and medicated rice-bolus therapy, used for joint pain, arthritis and post-injury recovery.
Sunrise practice with a resident teacher, and three dosha-specific meals a day cooked without refined sugar or processed oil.
Medical history and current medication reviewed by the physician before you fly.
Pulse reading, prakriti assessment and a printed daily schedule for your whole stay.
Sunrise yoga, therapies late morning, rest, light dinner by 7pm and early nights.
A written diet, herb and practice plan to continue at home, with a follow-up call after a month.
June to November is the traditional Karkidaka season when the humid monsoon air is considered ideal for Panchakarma. December to March is drier and more comfortable for first-time guests.
Seven nights for a rejuvenation programme. Genuine Panchakarma detoxification needs 14 to 21 nights — shorter versions are marketing, not medicine.
Usually yes, but the physician must see your prescriptions and recent reports before arrival. Ayurvedic herbs can interact with blood thinners, thyroid and diabetes medication.
Yes. Companions stay on a bed-and-board basis with yoga included, and can add individual treatments.
No. Programmes are strictly sattvic and alcohol-free — it is a condition of the clinical result, not a house rule.
Loose cotton clothing that can be oil-stained, a shawl, and nothing synthetic. Treatment garments are provided and laundry is daily.
We work with certified centres near Kumarakom on the backwaters, Kovalam and Somatheeram on the coast, and Wayanad in the hills for cooler air.
Pregnancy programmes are offered at some centres only, and therapies pause for two or three days during menstruation, replaced with yoga and consultations.
Most guests report better sleep by day three and steadier energy by the end of week one. Detoxification programmes often feel harder before they feel better, around days four to six.
