Adventure · Switzerland
Lift off from Zermatt or Bern in a private Airbus H125 for a circuit of the four-thousand-metre peaks, with a permitted landing on a high glacier plateau where you step out onto the ice. The flight is flown by a mountain-rated Swiss pilot under the federal glacier-landing permits, and is followed by lunch at an alpine restaurant reachable only by air or a long climb.

Switzerland licenses only a handful of high-altitude landing sites. These are the ones our flights use, weather permitting.
A full circuit of the north face and Hörnli ridge, the single most requested leg of the flight.
One of Switzerland's official mountain landing sites, at around 3,600 m — twenty minutes on the ice with your pilot.
The longest glacier in the Alps, flown along its full 20 km arc from Konkordiaplatz.
The Bernese trio and the Eiger north face, flown at ridge height on clear mornings.
The return leg into Zermatt over the second-highest massif in the Alps.
The pilot reviews cloud base and wind and confirms the route, or moves you to the next clear slot.
Fifteen-minute safety briefing at the heliport, then a direct climb into the peaks.
Twenty to thirty minutes standing on a permitted glacier plateau at around 3,600 metres.
A reserved table at a mountain restaurant, then the scenic return leg.
December to April for deep snow on the landing sites, June to September for green valleys and the longest visibility. November and May have the most weather cancellations.
Up to five guests plus the pilot in an H125. Combined passenger weight must stay under the altitude performance limit, so we ask for weights when booking.
None. You should be able to walk unaided on snow for a short distance at altitude. The glacier stop is flat and the pilot stays with you.
Mountain flights are only flown in clear conditions. We reschedule within your stay at no cost, or refund in full if no slot works.
Minus 5 to minus 15 degrees Celsius with wind in winter, around freezing in summer. Jackets, boots and gloves are provided.
Yes. There is no minimum age; infants must be held. At 3,600 metres guests with cardiac or respiratory conditions should check with their doctor first.
Yes. Point-to-point transfers to Gstaad, St Moritz, Verbier, Courchevel and Chamonix are quoted separately, with or without the glacier landing.
A three-course alpine lunch is included. Wine beyond the welcome champagne is charged on the day.
Two to three weeks is usually enough outside Christmas and New Year, when Zermatt and Verbier heliports are fully committed by October.
