Bergen · Geiranger · Flam · 9 nights
Nine nights from Bergen to Flåm, paced around the days that matter.
Nine nights across three stops: Bergen for three nights, Geiranger for three and Flåm for three. Every transfer between them is private and timed around the day's plan.
The days are built around Bryggen and Mount Fløyen, Geirangerfjord by Boat, The Flåm Railway and Nærøyfjord and Fjord Day from the City. Each one is set out below with what you will see, how you get there and which meals are included.
The defining moment of this route: geirangerfjord by boat and the Flåm Railway descent. Your travel specialist can add a night, swap a day or change the order before you book.
Day by day
Arrive at Bergen Flesland, about 30 minutes by road to the harbour and transfer privately to your base. Time today to walk the Bryggen wharf and the fish market before the light goes.
The UNESCO-listed Hanseatic wharf with its wooden alleyways and museum, then the funicular up Fløyen for the view over the seven mountains.
A boat into the Osterfjord and Mostraumen narrows, passing waterfalls and farms only reachable by water.
Drive or sail in through the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord. On arrival, walk up to the Flydalsjuvet ledge for the classic view down the fjord.
A sightseeing boat past the Seven Sisters and Bridal Veil waterfalls and the abandoned cliff farms, with a guide explaining how people once lived on those ledges.
The eleven hairpins of the Trollstigen road and the Ørnevegen switchbacks above Geiranger. Both are summer-only and close with snow, typically October to May.
Drive south over the mountains and through the Lærdal tunnel to Flåm, about six hours with a fjord ferry crossing. On arrival, walk the valley floor at the head of the Aurlandsfjord.
The Flåmsbana climbs 863 metres in 20 kilometres to Myrdal, with the Kjosfossen stop, and the day continues on a boat into the narrow, UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord.
The Stegastein viewing platform 650 metres above the Aurlandsfjord and the Snow Road over the mountains when it is open in summer.
An early fjord morning before the train or boat out. Private transfer to Bergen airport in good time for your onward flight.
Late May to September. Trollstigen and the Eagle Road are closed by snow for the rest of the year, and some Geirangerfjord sailings are reduced outside summer.
By a mix of train, fjord ferry and private car. The day-by-day plan below shows each leg, including the Flåm Railway and the Nærøyfjord sailing.

Yes. Every journey is a starting point: add or remove nights, swap a day's plan, change hotels or reorder the route, and your travel specialist re-plans the whole trip around it.
Your quote sets out the deposit that confirms the booking and the date the balance is due. Both depend on the hotels, airlines and guides involved, so they are agreed with you before you pay anything.
